Pro.Yingbo Ji, is the dean of the school of Civil Engineering, North China University of Technology. In 2008, she received a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering and Technology from Tianjin University. Her main research areas are building industrialization, green building, intelligent building and building information. She has not only served as the project leader for several national projects, but also prepared three textbooks, “Research on the Industrialization of Buildings”, “A Study on the Unbalanced Quotation of Engineering Changes from the Perspective of Contractors”, “Application and Training of BIM in Engineering Projects”.

Prof. Xin Wang

Microbial electrochemical technologies to accelerate anaerobic digestion; Microbial electrochemical sensors for toxicity detection
Professor Wang is the Department Chair of Environmental Engineering at Nankai University. His researches focus on anaerobic bacterial electron transfer in wastewater treatment systems, the formation of electroactive biofilm and the nitrogen cycling powered by exoelectrogens. With the scitific findings, he aims to accelerate pollution degradation, recycle nutrients and develop novel sensors for the early warning of water quality.
Prof. Jian-Guo Dai

Jian-Guo Dai, Ir Professor of Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He obtained his Ph.D. from Hokkaido University in 2003. He is the recipient of several academic awards including the "Best Basic Research Paper Award" from ASCE, Journal of Composites for Construction in 2005, "Distinguished Young Scholar Award" from the Association of FRP for Construction, China Society of Civil Engineers in 2011, and “Structural Excellence Grand Award” from Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in 2019. His major research fields include FRP composites in construction, durability, surface protection and life cycle maintenance of concrete infrastructures, and low-carbon and green cementitious composites.
Prof Dai is an Editor of Advances in Structural Engineering, an Associate Editor of Journal of Advanced Concrete Technology and a Vice Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Asian Concrete Federation. He is the Chair of Technical Board of Asian Concrete Federation and a Vice President of the International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC). He is a Fellow of IIFC, Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and Hong Kong Concrete Institute (HKCI). He has published more than 260 technical papers (including 110 SCI papers) in the above-mentioned fields (with 2511 citations and h-index of 27 at Web of Science as of 3 June 2020).

Prof. Hongfa Hu

Dr. Hongfa (Henry) Hu is a tenured full Professor at Department of Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering, University of Windsor. He was a senior research engineer at Ryobi Die Casting (USA), and a Chief Metallurgist at Meridian Technologies, and a Research Scientist at Institute of Magnesium Technology. He received degrees from University of Toronto (Ph.D., 1996), University of Windsor (M.A.Sc., 1991), and Shanghai University of Technology (B.A.Sc., 1985). He was a NSERC Industrial Research Fellow (1995-1997). His publications (over 150 papers) are in the area of magnesium alloys, composites, metal casting, computer modelling, and physical metallurgy. He was a Key Reader of the Board of Review of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions, a Committee Member of the Grant Evaluation Group for Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, National Science Foundation (USA) and Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly. He has served as a member or chairman of various committees for CIM-METSOC, AFS, and USCAR. The applicant’s current research is on materials processing and evaluation of light alloys and composites. His recent fundamental research is focussed on transport phenomena and mechanisms of solidification, phase transformation and dissolution kinetics. His applied research has included development of magnesium automotive applications, cost-effective casting processes for novel composites, and control systems for casting processes. His work on light alloys and composites has attracted the attention of several automotive companies.
